Here are a few things that you need to consider if you want to take advantage of today's hot real estate market:

1) You MUST review the property value and determine what you can get for your property.

2) You MUST make sure that your property is marketed aggressively. In a Hot Market, you will find a lot of agents get lazy, knowing all they have to do is take a listing and put it in the MLS and it will sell.

I agree. It can sell but it will NOT sell for a top price unless your agent markets the home aggressively.

Do not fall into this trap. You need an agent with a proven track record more than ever now. You need an agent who can drive demand which drives your price higher. If an agent cannot show you how they market and show you examples of what they did after they did it, then stay away.

3) You MUST understand the difference in the List Price and the Selling Price.

I am sure you know the difference yet it takes real strategy to determine a list price that will ultimately attract the highest sales price. We understand the market and know how to position you on the market at a high price yet make sure it is not too high that we do not get showings.

4) You MUST be in communication with your agent. Actually, it is the agent's job to be in communication with you. Real estate is an asset and in order to get the highest price, you must understand what is going on.

The more you know about the process, the more likely we will get the property sold and for a high price.
